Our Plans are coming together

We have finally planned a departure date, at least from Garrucha!

Having spent the last couple of months getting our house repaired after the storms in February, we are pleased to say she is looking tickety boo, already for the summer rental season, which means we will be setting sail on the 3rd June, although we will be heading southward to Almerimar, to have works done on Seaclusion before heading westward.

After our disastrous attempts at trying to tow our air floor dinghy last year,  we have finally taken the plunge and are having  davits fitted to Seaclusion’s stern so we can lift our now upgraded dinghy out of the water! I say upgraded, the new dinghy is a Zodiac RIB, but she is still 2.6m with a 6HP outboard, so no one had better get any ideas of water skiing behind it!. David had wanted to upgrade to a Williams jet boat to satisfy his need for speed, that is until we were told that it would more than likely rip the stern off Seaclusion in the first storm we hit, and if we wanted one of those we would need to upgrade Seaclusion to a minimum 54 ft yacht, ha ha ha, as if!!

Anyway, so watch this space, if the fitting goes well, we will be Almerimar for 3-4 days, before we set off back up the coast!
